RPSConnectED
Overview
RPSConnectED is designed to support the development of Personal/Professional Learning Networks (PLN) and empower RPS teachers and staff to take ownership of their personal/professsional learning through providing a mechanism for teachers and staff to connect and communicate with other educators within their school, division, and beyond. A PLN is an informal learning network that consists of the people a learner interacts with and derives knowledge from in a personal/professional learning environment in a PLN, a person makes a connection with another person with the specific intent that some type of learning will occur because of that connection.
Connections available through RPSConnectED have been selected for sharing based on their alignment with provincial and/or division goals, initiatives and/or prioirities and their ability to support quality evidence-based instructional, intervention, and assessment teaching and learning practices.
RPSConnectED begins with the RPSConnecED blog (CLICK HERE) and supports various online supports including RPS, school, and teacher websites, social media, RPSLive, ProLearn, iGo and Google Apps, eBluebook, etc.
